I'm shocked by all the previous mediocre reviews, because this is a truly weird and transgressive set of works, many of which are near masterpieces of the indie comics form. Hummingbird, Through the Habitrails, Aunt Connie, Goathland, Tick Tock Follies, Lee and Jenny Butler, the Sadist, and the Sound of Dreaming were all quite memorable and most of the rest is at least very good (including the Jessica stories, of which I had read one prior).

It's not the 3 star stuff of most reviews here.

A mixed bag of underground comics, mostly from the UK. None of them knocked my socks off, but most were at least interesting. This included a substantial section of [b:Through the Habitrails|1585849|Through the Habitrails|Jeff Nicholson|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1241447957s/1585849.jpg|1578762] which I'd long been curious about, so I'm glad I got to read that excerpt.
