Good content but reads like a series of essays

She really did her research on this one, and also had some great prose. To be honest, I actually read this book just to get all the content from the show, lost, and the interview with actor, Evan Rachel Wood, and there is so much more that I really enjoyed. I wasn’t sure how she was going to end this book, however, I did appreciate the part two of the book that explained the solutions when she gave us all the problems… I thought it could be used in real life outside of Hollywood.

Entertainment reporter Mo Ryan collects stories of abusive behaviour and systemic discrimination from within the film and TV industry. But she hasn't just talked to people with horror stories, she's talked to people with solutions. Great read, especially if you've been following the various scandals in the industry, and want to get a picture of the wider systems that enable abusers and exclude key voices from the creative process.
