So I have decided I will NEVER forgive Lynette Noni for everything this series has put me through.

Wow did I feel every emotion with this one. If the last book destroyed you to, trust that in the end this one will heal you. I can not count of that mount of times I GASPED and slammed the book shut during those last 100 pages. Lynette sure knows how to make me cry my eyes out and keep me on my toes. Never in a million years would I have expected any of the outcomes given, but boy was I grateful for them.

I may have cursed her and shaken my fists whilst reading – but in the end Lynette Noni is a mastermind and her message of hope told within this story isn't one I think I'll ever forget.

I am now on my knees begging for this series to be read more often 🙏🙏

I just love this trilogy. The Blood Traitor was just as good as I hoped. I didn’t think another character could sweep me off my feet but I guess I wasn’t ready for Cresta. What a
QUEEN!!

Kiva’s struggle with her choices and particularly
addiction and withdrawal
was compelling and raw. I’m so happy to have this series on my bookshelves to re-read for years to come. Also, that ending? Talk about just desserts.  *chef’s kiss*

When a book takes you through every emotion that’s when you know it deserves 5 stars. This was the first book where I could predict things happening and still loved it.  The adventure of it all truly helped make this a great story and to have everything wrap up soo wonderfully was absolutely needed. I was fully prepared to rage when we were to believe a certain someone was no longer with us but I’m glad L. Noni decided to bless us. Truly one of my favorite trilogies of all time now🥰

Overall, the book was fine. The series felt so rushed and this last book suffered because of it. WAY too much happened in the last few chapters of the book that felt like there was room to flesh out each conflict in a 4th. Once again, every "twist" was too easy to predict. At no point was I truly shocked by a reveal or an action of a character. The side characters were more interesting than our protagonist, who still suffers from crippling naivety.
Kiva has spent 10+ years in prison and she is still so trusting, which can be endearing for a little bit but the red flags for almost every character are so glaring. It was so frustrating watching her fall victim to something so obvious for the 3rd book in a row.
Probably great for those looking to get back into reading, but for me, it was a miss.
