What an absolutely magnificent end to this phenomenal series (even if I desperately wished it would never end at all)!

I'm so thankful for what the author did in this final book. This book took me on quite a wild ride and I loved every minute of it. Okay, maybe not every minute (some of them made me cry, gasp, or want to throw my book across the room), but for the most part, I enjoyed the roller coaster!

There were a few parts that I highlighted in my Kindle, with assumptions for what would happen based on a phrase someone said or an act by a certain character. Most of these things did happen, but none of them in the way I expected! And of course, there were a few fantastic plot twists along the way.

I could write an entire essay on my love for Cresta, Caldon, and Tipp. These characters really tugged at my heartstrings throughout the entire trilogy. I absolutely loved seeing how their stories evolved over the course of the different books. Now, I want spin-offs for a few of them as well, after the information shared in this final book!!!

The moment I finished this book, I immediately wanted to go back to the beginning of the series again. It really was that fantastic. Up there on my list of favorites now! I give a full 5/5 stars for The Prison Healer trilogy!

Torn between 4.5 and 4.75 as while I loved the story, the characters, and the book as a whole, I was slightly dismayed with the lack of attention paid to certain characters and plot lines (especially ones set up in book 2) that kinda fell off to the sides as well as how Kiva
falls into the category of heroine’s that lose their powers, even if it makes some sense for her characterization

Wow just wow,

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book and it did not disappoint.

Noni notes at the beginning that she touches on multiple triggering theme's included in this book, but they are written with care and consideration throughout.

We pick back up with Kiva back in Zalindov after her sister shows her true colours at the end of book 2 and it's a page turner from the get go. It has everything I think a good book needs, quests, betrayal's, heartbreak, friendship, magic. Book 3 really did not disappoint.

Noni writes in such away that there are constant twists a turns through this book and just when you think you have something figured out, turns out you really don't. We get to see more of the world the story is set in and we also get more time with Caldon and Tipp who I think are now up there in my favourite characters of all time. There were moments where I really wanted to give Kiva and Jaren a good shake and felt so frustrated but Noni once again proves why this series is brilliant and writes their story beautifully.

Kiva goes through such a journey, alone and with the rest of the characters in this book but the way she handles them with the support of the people around her really does make her an amazing heroine. I am shocked to say Cresta becomes one of my favourite people in this story!

Although I am gutted this journey has come to an end, I will most definitely be rereading this series over and over again for years to come.
