I honestly couldn't decide what to give this book. I highly anticipated it for like a year, but once I started reading it I was bored. Alisa wasn't as much as a bad ass in this book as she normally is, and it was pretty much all about the telar and what not..too much history and not enough action. I feel like this book was not necessary. I really hope this series is done because up until this book Thirst has been one of my favorite series.

I'm really not enjoying the continuation of this series. It seems to pale in comparison to the original series. I'll finish it, but it's not my favourite.

I had such a hard time putting this down!

I've read books by Pike when I was 14 and I'm glad that I still enjoy them now. This was so good. The twists, the hard choices made, the ending. Oh my heart. I love the was Pike writes, especially the small bits of humor. I would pick this up and not want to put it down. I kept telling myself one more page, one more chapter, etc. I can't wait to finish the series with the 5th book!

What a great conclusion to the end of a great series! After reading the 3rd book I was excited to find out what would happen in the finale. I think Sita is one of the best heroines in books I have read for a while. She is strong and witty, ruthful and dangerous, but still has the heart of a great person and knows what is right and wrong. The twists in this book kept this book going, because at points the book did lack a little action. Here we have to deal with getting rid of both the IIC and the Telar, and deciding which we should team up with. It was interesting to learn about the background of the IIC and all the little details of it. We have to figure out how to get rid of these enemies and creating a new balance. Plus with Sita in Teri's body for part of it, it creates some problems. Though I thought it was great to see how she was as a new vampire and how they react, nice little add in there from Pike! Pike creates a great world that engages the reader and keeps the page turning. I didn't want to put this book down! Sad that this series is over, definitely a must read for everyone!

This book ended on a cliff hanger! that really pissed me off, it wasn't one of those cliff hangers that you know are going to answered in another book, its one of those cliff hangers were you can interpret what Sita decides in the end!. In my opinion she stays in heaven and chooses not to go back to earth. I really enjoyed the book especially the part with the cradle, having kids that were emotionless demons are always fun to read about. This book was action packed as always but I must admit Sita was annoying me a tad,her character isn't my favourite, and im so happy that she and matt did not end up together because I was totally expecting that cliche to come somewhere while I was reading but it didn't...at least not while she was in her original body. The inside story of the telar and the IIC was another interesting thing to read. Overall I really enjoyed the book, just upset about the cliff hanger ugh!

The majority of this book was good, but the ending was a major turn off. The ending doesn't really give the series a wrap up but rather leaves the reader hanging. So I hope this isn't the end of the Thirst novels because I'd be very disappointed.

I... don't really know how I feel about this? This series has always been a little on the iffy side for me, with all the supernatural stuff and a buttload of mythology that is VERY hard to remember. Not to mention way too many minor characters to keep track of. I assume, based on the ending of this, that this is the last of the series, though it was a bit open-ended, so can't be too sure.

Basically in the end, I feel like I only read this to see what happens next, as was the case with the previous two books. I was reading to get to the end, not really feeling very invested in the story anymore (though there were a few points where I was intrigued by a plot twist or something similar), and that's not what reading is supposed to feel like.

TL;DR - Only three stars for this. The writing is perfectly fine and I've always liked following along with the main character's story, but I think the plot got too complicated and just downright unbelievable and it wasn't really enjoyable anymore. *nods*
