It was a bit difficult to follow along as an audiobook, since the boon has so many alternating POV's.

This was my first book by Lisa Unger and it set such an amazingly high bar. The plot was so unique, so unlike anything else I’ve read. It kept me guessing the entire time as to how all of these characters were connected. As someone who is adopted, I love the plot line of found family and how important and beautiful it is. Half a star off because it’s written in third person and that not my fav.

When a group of people go to a vacation house for the weekend, they never dream that it could unravel their lives.
This book kept me interested in the plot, but wasn’t anything special. I found it semi-predictable and a little heavy on the concept of “family”. The ending also dragged on a little long.
I liked Henry’s story arc the best, which was only a small portion of the whole thing.

I think the overall story wasn’t too bad but I just felt that too many characters were introduced, it was hard to keep track. But overall not bad.
