I wanted to read a book about New York City in the 1970s but the premise of the book did not intrigue me. I read the first few chapters but did not return to finish the book.

A little rambling and disjointed. This book dealt with a strained parent child relationship, a poet, and the behind the scenes world of writing a book. It would have been nice if these aspects flowed together and were a bit more relatable.
