It's a great book, it didn't become of my favorites but great writing (no need to add that, right?). There were a lot of religiosity and religion text explored with lots of depths and that lost me for a bit but I highly recommend but not an easy read. Shame, internal morals and hypocrisy were also themes

I enjoyed how the book all took place in one day, and the writing was so poetic and beautiful. Just didn’t love the subject matter or the characters. But worth reading for the powerful writing style alone.
