What an enchanting book by one of my favorite YouTubers.
Paola Merrill goes through the seasons talking about life in her cottage in the Valley where she had moved to that set a new pace for her life. She gives ideas for how she decorates her home and the unique recipes she makes. Her words are really beautiful. There were moments where I stopped and reread passages from her book because they really stood out and made me say, "Wow!"

A hug in the form of a book. As a young adult myself, going through a period of difficult change, the essays in this book have brought me great comfort and even after finishing it I find myself carrying it around with me just in case I need company, which is a sweet irony with the title. It's a book that encourages you to be yourself, to listen to your heart and do the things you love and that light you up, even when no one understands or judges as something childish.

It's full of gentle moments, the occasional recipe or craft, and all things to be loved about the Cottage Fairy herself!
