Lady India stole my heart. She is so fierceless, I adored her as the medling sister in the previous book and she shined through as the heroine in this one.

This was a sweet romance with a side of adventure. Spies! Stolen antiquities! Knife fights! Ambushes! The childhood back story between our enemies to lovers was charming and added depth to their relationship. I was so pleased they found their way to a happily ever after eventually.

Was it possible for me not to love an Indiana jones meets James Bond inspired tale wherein former first loves / best friends are now sworn enemies with conflicting ethical beliefs about artifact restitution? NOPE. This was such a fun romp, lord. I love Indy and Raven. “We named the dog Indy” ;)
