This book was definitely adapted for young people however Jane Eyre is a story I’ve tried to get to know many times as my mom loves it. This retelling is a great outline of the story in modern English. I enjoyed the book and feel I know the story better.

Terrific retelling. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love the accessibility of it.

This review is just me ranting about that actual decisions of the characters and how stupid I think they acted, so carry on if you don’t care.

An easy accessible and well done retelling of a classic. Would serve as a nice introduction or refresher on Brontë’s work whatever age the reader. Nice quick read - will probably seek out more of these in my local library, as I’m curious to see how other classic works have been retold.
