Maginficent colletion of thoughtful and conversational essays on classic horror and kaiju. Musings on Monsters (MOM) is not only an exploration of the history and backstory of these films but is also and primarily an examination of why this genre matters, why it resonates among so many generations. Sequart consistently produces excellent essay books on genre and this volume is among my favorites. Lots of dog ears, highlighting, and other markers of a great book for Musings on Monsters.

This one is a treasure.
