Really enjoyed this story of a lawyer getting caught up in a case of a man on death row for killing a teenager, though no body was ever found. The mother of the girl believes her daughter is still alive and I enjoyed reading and seeing where everything went.

This wasn't my favourite of the Grippando books that I have read but I still enjoyed it just the same. I found the plot dragged on in many places and everything seemed to be rushed in the end.

This is my first book by Jame Grippando. I absolutely enjoyed it. The legal part was great, the mystery and characters were all wonderful. I wasn't sure if I would like it knowing it's the 12th book in the series, but it sure was a great read. Looking forward to read the next book.

Fast read but seemed very basic and stereotypical for a crime book.
