Loved this book. It's amazing how much more I understand the other books from just reading this. I would love for Stephenie to write more of these.

This was far more beautiful and touching than the entire twilight saga combined. Although it's more tragic and in some ways , not as enjoyable as the main series which is basically so bad , it's good. But I do love the concepts if not thier execution in all the books.

I was curious to see why Bree’s story would be told, given that she’s barely a mention in the main series and knowing that she dies, but I was quite surprised at the insight her story provides. It sheds better light on what it really entails to be a newborn vampire and the struggles that come with it, especially in her circumstances. It was also interesting to receive confirmation that the Volturi detested the Cullens so much, that they were letting Victoria do her thing in the hopes that she might be successful and get the job done for them, thereby letting them remain ever righteous.
