I felt this was an unique commentary on elitism, race, and greed. I really enjoyed this read and recommend it.

this book was crazy bananas and cool as hell. it was like c pam zhang's land of milk and honey meets westworld meets  get out in the coolest possible way. i think some of the book had pacing issues, but i really appreciated the dynamics between the four protags and i loved the steadily increasing horror elements that giles included.

It’s as if Black Mirror & The Hunger Games had a baby about the not too distant dystopian future.

I saw a review that describes it perfectly, a slow burn without true payoff.
It took a while for the characters & the pace of the story to grow on me. Finally when I really got into the story, it felt like it wrapped up too fast. The ending left me really sad and depressed. There was justice at the end, but not enough. Kind of represents our real world perfectly. I would of loved a epilogue at the end telling how the main 4 ended up in the future.

I enjoyed this book as a whole, though I find myself angry at points (and I'm glad some characters got exactly what they deserved).
