The Nose by Nikolai Gogol

Well, this was very absurd. And that was precisely Gogol's intention. "The Nose" is a satirical novella about a Russian (quite arrogant!) bureaucrat who wakes up one day, with his nose missing. Only to find, it was off living its own life, as a Civil Councillor no doubt. I'll admit I don't have enough knowledge of Russian society and politics to fully comprehend the social order Gogol was skewering. However, it was 50 page read; a breeze to read and funny at that.

It was short but still boring af. Miles better than the overcoat tho.
Bro had a good idea and made the worst possible choices. The NOSE, the paint of the whole book has two scenes and only speaks in one of them.

When I started it I was pretty sure I'm gonna love it since I seem to have a soft spot for Russian literature. Unsurprisingly I did.

It's hilarious. I mean what else to expect when it's a story about a men on a quest. A man trying to find his nose after loosing it.
