First, i Loved it. Second, i had a love hate relationship with Ian i swearrrrr. I wanted to smack him a few times. I loved the kiddos! Morgan being my favorite! I cant wait for more by them

Hold You Close is an angsty enemies to lovers romance that reminds me most of the movie Life As We Know It. There were times when all the push and pull irked me because I just wanted London and Ian to be together, but then at the same time, I loved the progression of their relationship and how the bickering was just so them. My favorite part was the three kids and seeing London and Ian interact with them as they learned how to become parents and true role models. Also, the way the kids all meddled in their love life was perfect.

Hold You Close is the first co-written book by Melanie Harlow and Corrine Michaels. I sincerely hope that it is not their last. I was excited to read this book since they announced it.
Hold You Close is a love to hate to love, second chances romance. The kind of book that you can totally picture as a movie. The characters were real. They were fun, sweet, and sometimes frustrating. I was fully engaged the whole story.
The only thorn I have to say is that sometimes their bickering wasn’t the fun, banter kind. It annoyed me a couple times throughout the book. It was not make or break it for me.
I would love to read another book set in this world about a certain bartender turned manager.
I voluntarily read an early copy.

I did not love this book. They spent so much time hating each other instead of admitting the truth. Ian was a jerk most of the book and London wasn't any better. The best part were the kids. I have unanswered questions. In the end, what happened with her job? Too much drama for me.

Toss together 2 of my favorite authors, add in a second chance story with a side of enemies-to-lovers- I couldn't wait to read Hold You Close and I wasn't disappointed. Their writing was seamless- it was impossible to tell who wrote what. Although I didn't care for Ian's attitude at first, he definitely won me over as he became more accepting of the situation he had been thrown in. The angry banter between Ian and London was fun and the three kids were a delight and seemed so authentic. Truly an enjoyable read.
