This book just didn't live up to the expectations that I have for Gillian Flynn books. I usually love her stories, but I just felt like this one was very sporadic and chaotic. I wasn't as invested as I usually am, so this book was just overall a miss for me.

The story just dragged on and on. I almost DNF'ed this book but I pushed through because I really enjoyed the other booksby the author. The plot twist came out of nowhere, and not in a good way. Probably th weakest out of all of Gillian Flynn's works in my opinion.

Interesting but psychologically disturbing. Not the subject material of books I prefer to read.

Sometimes knowing what happens helps, sometimes it doesn't. For Libby Day, the process of searching was more life-saving then the truth - it encouraged her to do.

This is a good read, compelling story switching from present day to the day everything went wrong. Slowly piecing together how the story fits together. And who actually murdered the Day family all those years ago.
