very good and gripping im now mildly late for uni...
if theres something about me its that i love past/present pov it gets me every time, the ending was unexpected and i think the story was paced very well. some of it was very disturbing for a little while

An incredibly well-written book by Gillian Flynn. Although all of her books are dark I think this one is the darkest. I had DNF’d it several years ago and just recently picked it back up. I remembered why almost right away. It’s a book that makes you viciously uncomfortable at almost every turn. This is not a book with a happy ending but it does have a fitting one. There are definitely major trigger warnings to go with this book.

amazing book and very descriptive like in a way i could understand but also have a very detailed picture of in my head. the ending was unexpected and i really liked the past/present thing as well as having different characters perspectives. took me so long to read but definitely a 5 star.
