L0.5*
Young love, grief and the difficulty of planning a future when everything changes. Beautiful concept about the difficulty of moving on, and also the necessity of moving on.

Editing note - some missing/added words, particularly in second half. Unnecessary italics.

I enjoyed this book quite alot. The story is a little slow in the beginning but picks up half way through. It was easy to read and had nice characters. The only thing I didn’t like about the fmc is how inconsiderate she is to other people around her. As someone who grieved with a personal loss, I had a hard time understanding her and the way she treated other people. Other than that it was a great book and I enjoyed reading it.

This book will stay with me for a very, very long time. Jules and Sam’s story was cut short and it broke my heart to see how the people who cared about Sam were struggling after his death but then came a second chance to say goodbye in the form of a phone call and I love that they got that chance. A piece of him will always remain in the world with the people he loves and I just love how beautiful and meaningful the last few chapters were. I’d definitely recommend this but make sure you have some tissues with you.
