I flew through this book. It was a really easy read and I found myself constantly wanting to know what happened next. That being said, I guessed the mIn plot twist pretty early on. It was still a really interesting and heart pounding story though. And I didn’t expect the ending to take the turns it did and I’m so angry about it in a good way. I love an unreliable narrator, I think it really adds to the story when we don’t know if we can trust what we’re being told but holy shit. Like seriously I’m not sure if I can get myself to come to terms over what happened, and what never is going to happen. It’s not the best thriller I’ve ever read but in terms of YA thrillers I was pretty impressed. It was an interesting read with good pacing that took multiple twists and turns throughout.

A quick, enjoyable thriller. I spent the entirety of the book convinced that I was going to give it a 3-star review, because I thought the "twist" was incredibly predictable. I was so confident that I had this book figured out, that there was no way the ending would shock me as all the other reviews had foretold... and then it totally did. Teenage me would have lost my shit over this book. Adult me gives it 4 stars.

I raced through it, but ultimately it was kind of blah.

This was faintly disturbing. Not in a serial killer kind of way, but a thoughtful kind of way.

If I hadn't guessed the "surprise twist", I probably would have rated it 4 stars. But I knew from almost the very beginning what was going to happen.

Better than I had initially expected. While I think the major twist can be seen awhile before the reveal, the writing is solid, story is interesting, most of the characters and their dynamics are unique and disturbing to read about, the back and forth timeline worked extremely well, and the ending is beyond chilling. Although I wish Jenny had been given more fleshing out, since she was one of the more important minor characters.

Woah! I just finished this and I need a minute to run through the entire story in my mind again and relate it to what I just read. If you like psychological thrillers, this would be the book for you!

a nice, quick read that makes you feel just as crazy as the characters in it.

What?!

I like an unreliable narrator and this book delivered. So well written and compelling!

I won't give anything away, but fans of We Were Liars may be fans of this.

This book had me hooked immediately with the unique writing style. A truly dark masterpiece that almost borders on an Adult Fiction rating. A fantastic read. The ending alone was utterly worth it!
