do not read if you don't want something quite depressing. the prose was lovely, and the characters endearing and well-written. the plot is quite sad and full of trauma, but I thought the issues in the book were dealt with well.

It was a good listen and I think listening instead of reading really did make this a better read however, towards the end as things got a bit darker I was waiting for it to finish but that was more because things got a little upsetting to listen to.

Wasn't my thing. DNF at like 14%. Almost put me to sleep on my drive home, which was fun. I don't think I can rate it fairly so I won't.
