Not a bad book. However, it was a lot of essays that said nothing new. Some were lovely and thought-provoking, but few. The title stating all 101 essays will change the way I think is hyperbolic, to say the least.

It’s packaged so you can’t browse inside before buying, and after reading, I understand why.

This was the first book I ever regretted spending money on so much that I threw it straight into the bin.

The essays weren’t essays at all—just shallow, Instagram-level posts that offered zero new insights. Nothing grabbed my attention or made me think in a fresh way; it felt more like cheap filler than genuine writing. Save your time and money—this one just isn’t worth it.

At some point, it did become more of repetitive. Love life, be healthy. It is like buying 101 signs of Live Love Live, on different wordings but does have the same end game. It can be more of a pinterest poster that you bring in a Starbucks run, ordering the most niche coffee or tea.

Seemed to get repetitive, but great at first!

Some quotes that resonated during my reading:

"Accomplishing goals is not success. How much you expand in the process is."

"Real emotional maturity is how thoroughly you let yourself feel anything. Everything. Whatever comes. It is simply the knowing that the worst thing that could ever happen...is just a feeling at the end of the day."

"If you wait on the feeling of "readiness", you'll be waiting forever, and worse, you'll miss the best of what's right in front of you."

"Practice radical acceptance. Choose to love your home, and your body, and your work, even if you don't like it all the time. Choose to build your life from a place of gratitude and vision, rather than running from your own fears."

"We are talking in circles and affirming only with people who inherently agree with us, rather than trying to understand where the people who don't are coming from."

Started listening, and it was a bit a lot of information in one hit, so started taking it just 1 essay at a time. Some good take outs, but not a game changer.
