I flew through this book. Such a good (and original) story. It made me take a good hard look at my own marriage and, while mine is in a very good place right now, you still tend to take things for granted...especially after 13 years. It's nice to remember the little things that made you fall in love with your significant other in the first place.

I do think Grandma had a point though. Taking a whole year off from one another was a little overkill, but I suppose it got the job done. The ending is predictable, and I knew almost from the very beginning what was going to happen, but it was ok...I enjoyed it nonetheless. Next up ...'Forever Interrupted'!

I’ve read all of Jenkins Reid’s books and After I Do is my least favorite. The story just meanders and doesn’t have much to offer besides Jenkins Reid’s trademark witty dialogue.
