Loved the movie growing up and the book was far better. I enjoyed getting to know all the characters stories and POVs. Inspiring story to connect people with others and with themselves.

Picked this book because of my love for the movie. It can be challenging to pick a books based on a film you’ve seen several times and have major love for but it was fun to see the differences and choices made for the story. I loved both directions made. Of course there is dated language and mind sets but on the whole this is a fun and loving story. I wish there was more about Ruth in the story.
