Quick easy read, and parts of it really enjoyable. I just….don’t think it has aged well at all. Lot of moments and characterizations that aren’t sitting right with me. Definitely a case where the movie is superior.

Somehow, having watched the movie when it first came out, I never got the memo that it was a book. So it this was a pleasant discovery. Even better, I liked the outrageousness in the book just as much.
