Beckett can’t get Skyla out of his mind. From the moment he first saw her at his sister's bookstore, he has been enamoured. Convincing Skyla to go on a date is no small feat; she is a little gun-shy after a relationship ended badly. Skyla is an accomplished ballerina from New York who has escaped to Montana after some issues back home. As Beckett works to earn her trust, Skyla’s walls begin to crumble, but danger lurks and could tear them apart.
Beckett is a swoony main character. He is incredibly patient and caring. He fell fast and hard and became a man obsessed. He showed his intentions and allowed Skyla to catch up. Skyla is a strong character; she has been through a lot yet managed to come out on the other side. She is determined to start a new life in Bitterroot Valley and is working hard to achieve that.
This book is 100% insta-love. They went on their first date, and he spent the night simply cuddling her. After that, they were rarely apart and practically living together. I loved the small-town feel of this book and enjoyed getting to know more about the Blackwell siblings while seeing some cameos from other families we have met.
As with all of Kristen’s books, I didn’t want it to end. I was sucked into the entire town and story, and I just wanted to be there with them! I can’t wait for the next book in this series! Thank you to the author for a copy of this book. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am in LOVE with these two. I might love Beck and Skyla’s love story more than Bridger and Dani! I love how Beck takes care of her and basically is a “touch her and you die” guy who will move Heaven and Earth for Skyla. The way he loves her and worships the ground she walks on is adorable. I love the prima ballerina aspect to this! The Audio is to DIE FOR! Like holy heckers!!!!! The accent and the banter is so good! What I wouldn’t give to read this all over again for the first time! Kristen, you are one of my immediate read authors! I cannot wait to read Conner and Bee’s story!!!!!

They just keep getting better and better!
Skyla was such an interesting FMC. I knew from her introduction in the previous book that I would love getting to know her, and Riley! Skyla is a strong character who is willing to do what she needs to protect herself but also very timid at the same time. I love that we get to see her put her walls down and let someone in.
Beckett Blackwell was definitely more swoony than I thought he would be right out of the gate. This man fell hard and fast and wasn’t afraid in the least. I love how alpha he is without being overbearing. I love how he showed his intentions of getting to know her so clearly so she would open up to him. And I love how he loved Riley instantly and got things for him too.
This was absolute insta-love and I’m not mad about it. I love a good, unrealistic encounter where they go from “hi” to “we will never be apart” *swoon*
I got to listen to this one and the audio was so good! The accents (6 different ones in total between both voice actors) were phenomenally done. If you have the chance to listen to this one I highly recommend it.
Next up is Beckett’s sister and Skyla’s brother, what ever could happen? 😂😍
