2 stars. The book was… alright. There were some things that could be helpful in it. However, it really does feel like a book meant to help middle class people become higher class (like his PhD father), not actual poor people— its like he believes that you need to spend money to make money (which I understand), but doesn’t realize that poor people don’t have the money to spend in the first place. It’s also using a lot of survivorship bias— he gives an anecdote (going off the top of my head, sorry if it’s not directly accurate) about a friend not wanting to buy something (I believe it was stocks?) in case it does poorly, but the stock ends up doing well. The author uses this as proof to not hesitate in decisions, but the only why he’s able to say this is because of hindsight; of course you’d say that when you know you’ll benefit. What would he have said if the stock did bad and the friend ended up losing money? Earning money sometimes involves taking risks, but what if that friend didn’t have the money they would be okay with losing due to a risk like this?
Reading this didn’t, for lack of better words, feel pleasant. The writing style kowkey felt vain and dismissive; maybe he got that from Rich Dad. He’ll mention the same things over and over about mindset, which would be beneficial, but he won’t really give any actionable advice, which made me doubt the credibility before I even looked him up— does the money actually come from what he claims it does, or from the courses/books he’s selling to people who want to make more?

this was my first book on personal finance that i had ever read and tbh i loved it but, the older i grew and the more i gained my knowledge on finance and life, in general, i came to realize how worthless this book was. the core of this book is to tell you to buy assets and avoid liabilities which is very good advice in general but, it doesn't make sense when the author takes it to the extreme level (should i give a spoiler...)

I am not a fan of this book, I just find it boring, and finance is one of my biggest loves in life! In all honesty, you could read the last chapter only and be fine.
