Loved this story. Loved the twist, the characters and everything about it. I have to say that I did not see that coming at all, normally I am pretty good at predicting things in stories but somehow I was so into the story that I was blinded and didn't see what was coming. I really liked how the author didn't make you think for a second that it was a possibility at all, you just won't see it because you might be expecting something else, like I was. I loved the magic in the story and I have to say that even thought Luke was made into a bit of a villain I was very sad at the end when he does not get a HEA. I was happy for Carter and I truly liked his character and of course I liked Violet as well but sometimes I didn't like her very much. I have to say I was more into the males in the story than Violet.
The story has a lot of action and you won't be bored for a second. The romance was there and the sex scenes are very well written. There was quite a bit of steaminess going on in the story and you might be a bit confused sometimes because you know that there are 2 males in the story so you don't know if you like on or the other for her.
The story has a HEA of sorts, just not for every character in the story and I have to say I was a bit sad about something that happens.
Definitely recommend reading this one, it's super awesome!
