Just a stone cold murder mystery classic. Well executed genre fiction that is genuinely good enough to get away with the self-awareness and winking. Highly satisfying.

going into this book blind and this book was a page-turner! can’t believe finished this book in one sitting.
the storyline was unbelievable, i like the way that this book has two different stories happening at the same time (and it turns out they are connected).
near the end not gonna lie i was kind of scared and getting more and more confused about who the murderer is. then boom the plot twist hit and all the people that i thought was the murderer turned out not to be.
besides the story, i kind of see myself in orczy character
