A book that seemed to centre around the “twist” ending rather than have a cohesive plot or character development. Simple read that goes by fast, but one that probably won’t stay with me through the years.

Cool time paradoxes -- ending brought everything together in a very succinct and satisfying way. Funnily enough, I was reading this book at the same time as Tress of the Emerald Sea and both in some way have to do with talking rats.
