Much fun was had with this whodunit. “And Then There Were None” was one of my favorite books as a kid, and I still enjoy her writing today.

Such a famous story. Perhaps it was too hyped up ... at least for me.

A classic that I've wanted to read forever and I really liked it. I can understand why Christie is so popular with the storyline and the way she writes, and I loved the reveal at the end where everyone was actually involved. This was the first mystery in a while where I really didn't see the end coming, and that's usually the sign of a really good mystery book for me.

I picked this up on audiobook out of curiosity because I’ve heard so much about it. Honestly - I just couldn’t get into it. The characters read too flat for me, the narrative jumps around way too much, and the storyline just doesn’t grab me. It’s possible a book like this might be more engaging in paperback format, so I’m not completely opposed to trying another of Christie’s books in print if I came across one. Objectively speaking it’s not a bad book, just not really my cup of tea.

Hercule annoyed me at first and certain leaps (ie the letter just having the words “Daisy Armstrong” immediately signifying that Ratchett was her killer) seemed a little generous. that said, the ending was delightful.
