Finally read it on english, and i did not expect this style of writing from Agatha Christie. In russian it felt a bit dry and not always an easy read, like smth written by a very intelligent person, but in English there were a couple of unfamiliar words used weirdly, other than that it was surprisingly simple. It wasn't witty or atmospheric or thrilling or heart-wrenching or beautifully written. It was just a good old story with a beloved character.

Love the mystery. I feel that by the end of it I could see most of the clues coming together, not fully but most. I like it a lot especially how by the end the puzzle pieces come together.

I couldn't recall if I had read this one before, even though there seemed to be a lingering familiarity to the events happening in the book.

But it was an excellent read, regardless.

The train setup, the complexity behind the murder, the unraveling and the climax. And of course, Poirot himself. Throughout, a lot of the events had too much of an air of coincidence around them, but Poirot unravels it, as always.

Glad I read the book before I watched the movie! And I completed my goal for this year!

Didn’t love the main character. I was constantly lost. To many details to keep track of.

Oh my god this was amazing.

As soon as I read the ending I realised that I'd known what was going to happen the Whole time because of Doctor Who and Donna's line in The Unicorn and the Wasp about this book and I was quite angry at myself for not realising this straight away. I was completely wrong about my thought of who did it and I like that because holy shit that was so clever! Agatha Christie is a genius!
