This book kinda annoyed me. I thought it was going to be like a YA the night circus and was greatly disappointed.
It had its good parts and I liked this whole initial circus idea but.. It was a very young adulty book, with incredibly over the top imagery and descriptions which I couldn't work out whether I kinda liked or really hated. But the main thing I didn't like about this was how annoying I found most of the characters. All their decisions weirdly irritated me. Mostly it was the fact that the main character was constantly surprised that people lied to her and was constantly trusting people even though she's constantly being told that people will lie to her and that she can't trust them. Ughhh!!
That annoyed me probably more than it should've done heh
