The not one but two violent descriptions of a dying or dead dog were just too much for me.
Planning to try again at a later date with a print or digital copy versus audiobook.

I almost DNF’d this but got it on audiobook and was able to get through it that way. I honestly didn’t care about any of the characters so it was hard for me to care about getting to the end.

Creepy for sure, don’t read this if you like dogs

This book was okay. It wasn’t a page turner for me and almost DNF but got the audio and just listened to it for me to finish. The story line was interesting but it just couldn’t get my attention. When some parts did, I felt so lost on how we got that point. Gave it 2 stars only because it had an interesting storyline.

I enjoyed this, but parts were a little slow for me. Will definitely read some more from this author as this was my first from him.

I really liked the writing and the story was unique but I didn't care about the characters which made it hard to care about the outcome of the book.

I was really concerned about Ricky at the beginning but then he died... Then I cared about Lewis (though a little less) then he died, and so on and so forth. I'm not invested in characters that I know will die.

Interesting premise but boring at times and I’m not a fan of slasher horror.
