WOAH. This was daisy jones and the 6 (but better…) meets thriller meets mystery?! And I ate it up! I liked that, unlike daisy jones and the 6, we were not romanticizing cheating- there was some kind of shame to it while not denying it was happening. But it still had to good parts of the “drugs sex and rock n roll” with the artist/70s band aspect. The duel timeline with the connection being the house was GENIUS. Parts of the connection were predictable in a good way and other parts were like WOAH WHAT. The friendship/thriller aspects felt very Goodbye, Earl to me (in a good and bad way) Cannot recommend enough!!!
