3.5 stars rounded up. I love how this book is presented. It's a thriller but most of the thrills are past tense, slowly being uncovered.

A struggling author hears an amazing book plot that he then steals when the original author who came up with the plot dies.

You get to follow present day mixed with the actual book written. The dread of being found out was really compelling. I predicted the end but there were still good twists and turns.
