It may have been a little predictable with a protagonist that was semi-passive towards his external conflict at first, but the more you read the better it gets and as you read you'll find the narration to be very enjoyable with clever and cheeky references to reality and the things writers go through. This story could definitely be a movie.

A really cool idea and I was fooled just about as long as the central character was about the final twist; but the titular plot inevitably fell short of the promise. Of course in the real world of writing there can be no such plot, but the dance revealing it as the 'real' plot unfolds was intriguing.

The story centers around a failing writer who stumbles on a great story plot of another would be author. He eventually steals the plot once he learns that the other would be author dies without writing his book. The rest of the story is a sit on the edge of your seat nailbiter to the very last page. I am in love with suspense again because of this extraordinary work of fiction. This book is for anyone who has been yearning for a true, authentic and original thriller. This book will not disappoint.
