Anderson caps of his trilogy in spectacular style with another great story fit to stand near the top of all Legends material. Fantastic.

It was better than the previous book in the trilogy, but it was not a great book. I truly believe there are good stories in this trilogy to be told, but I think this story would have been better served as one book with a tight plot and fast action. Instead we got three books and the story had to be padded out with boring and unnecessary plot lines.

This book also had an issue with ending. I felt like I read 6 or 7 different endings before the book finally ended. It was an alright story but not the best the Star Wars expanded universe had to offer and I don't think I'll ever revisit this trilogy again.

What the next Star Wars Trilogy should have been.

I lost interest and came back to this book so many times. The issue for me with this series is that every storyline felt like it was starting to take off and then the book would end. It's no different for Champions of the Force. All of the books in this series seemed to blend together so I'm not sure what happened in which book but I very much enjoyed Terpfen's storyline. The rest were pretty cut and dry without many surprises. Not that I expect a lot of surprises out of a Star Wars book. Overall, it was enjoyable. I'd recommend reading it after Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy from Star Wars Legends.
