OMG! This is a series that hits hard as I think about what is life, family, and sacrifices we make.
Obviously I started reading as a result of WandaVision and this was so good.

A satisfying end to this series. Bonus point from me for the direct allusions to Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice."

Vision unintentionally creates a grim and ultimately tragic parody of suburban domesticity. Reminded me of Isaac Asimov.

“Parents sacrifice their lives for their children. Then children become parents and sacrifice their own lives. And so all is sacrificed and nothing is gained. Life, then becomes the pursuit of an unobtainable purpose by absurd means.”

Didn't like this quite as much as the first volume - the real tragedy of the first half shifts too hard into superhero tragedy, and you can feel it starting to buckle under the weight of the Marvel Comics machine. But it's still confident, unsettling, and highly readable.

This is a very dark and cleverly written story with beautiful, haunting artworks. I really enjoyed spotting the little seeds that served as inspiration for WandaVision throughout my reading.

A solid end to Tom King's reinterpretation of Vision as a family man ... and all the drama that happens to come with it (especially after the events of Volume 1). Rich, complex, and probably better read back to back with Volume 1 for greater impact.
