Booring. Fanfiction like writing. Werid descriptions like comparing a mouth and penis to medium-rare meat in color.
In my opinion it also gave mysoginy as the only women were either: fuckable, fat, hysterical/dramatic, gay or his mother.
Also it kinda glorifies a terror attack.
Also it uses terminologi That’s quite outdated today and it was uncomfortable to read.

It was boring, read like a fanfic from 15 years ago, and it’s basically copaganda. This didn’t age well. This is for older millennials/gen x who still glorify 9/11.

The smut is hot and you get really attached to the characters but god the writing is horrendous.

Intriguing concept with this one, but rather poorly executed. I got the overall sense that this book didn't really know what it wanted to be. There were a lot of pages spent on irrelevant details, and very few spent focusing on what actually mattered like development of the plot and relationship. The book kind of seemed to breeze over the awakening sexualities of both MCs, which seems like a pretty important thing to skip over. I also felt that the themes of homophobia, infidelity, PTSD, and abuse-of-power were handled rather poorly, and it would have worked better to just focus on one or two of those topics.

The MCs were likeable enough, though their logic was frustrating at times, and Dante could've benefitted from more development.

It was a bit slow at first and took me some time to get into it. The spicy moments were good and nicely detailed. I enjoyed it overall.

maybe i rated this so high because my expectations were so low but hot head is an enjoyable read with a very good title and premise.

i feel like the balance of "firefighters who are still kinda traumatized from 9/11" and "mutually pining best friends do gay porn together for rent money" was a tough combo but overall i thought the characters had (slightly) more charm and depth than expected. i found myself rooting for them to really truly get together by the end of the book!

also the smut is very well done

(22:06)There's bump at first that makes me leave it for couple of weeks but as you reading it. It keeps getting better and better and honestly the book is worth it as whole.
