This is an extremely short story demonstrating Poe's uncanny skills as a detective. There's Tilly too with her spot-on and honest observations. The first part of the story where Poe solves a mock murder in a locked room was funny.
Then Poe solves the mystery of the missing diamond 'The Red Moon', which reminds one of Sherlock Holmes stories. (There are very few crime novels about missing diamonds these days

This was fun. Went to solve one thing (as part of a game), ended up solving something else (real thing) entirely.
It’s nice to have Poe and Tilly back. I treasure everything with them.
