A basic look into the historical development of how we understand the universe and cosmology. Grateful that it is written in simple English as I would have been extremely lost with added physics and mathematics jargon.

Reeeaally good. Like I feel my brain is expanding good. Hawking was a funny guy. The book wasn't boring at all.

I am not sure why they compiled those three books in one edition, though, because the last book is like.... A condensed and shortened version of the first book? But I am not taking off the points for that.

Really liked the basic explanations but felt the author fabricated too much religious/political connection to science.

On va pas prétendre que j’ai tout compris. Si le début est assez clair la seconde moitié du livre est restée obscure pour moi. Hawking y développe plusieurs théories quant au commencement de l’univers assez compliquées à suivre sans les fondamentaux. Mais l’ensemble reste très intéressant. Tant pour les connaissances sur la naissance de l’univers, que pour l’histoire de la pensée scientifique.
