La verdad, me ha decepcionado que este sea el final de la serie de libros de Roe. El misterio no me ha gustado nada y tampoco lo ha hecho Roe, la protagonista, que si en el libro anterior parecía que iba a volver a ser ella misma en este no está tan claro.
Ah, y el hermanastro de Roe creo que ha crecido demasiado rápido... Tiene algún año más de los que debería según los propios libros, pero bueno. Nos lo han colado ahí como historia secundaria para rellenar y ya está...
En fin, que le pongo 3 estrellas al libro sobre todo por los buenos momentos que me dieron los primeros libros y lo mucho que me engancharon porque este ha dejado bastante que desear. Roe Teagarden, ojalá hubieras tenido un último libro diferente a tu altura. Siempre te recordaré por tus primeros libros.

Para empezar, que Poppy, la cuñada asesinada de Roe, pase de ser la madre del año a ser una ninfómana con un trágico pasado en el que su padre abusaba de ella me choca muchísimo. Que hayan salido todos los novios de Roe durante el libro y ella nos haya recordado una y otra vez que estuvo liada con ellos tampoco ayuda a que el libro me guste. Y la decisión de seguir saliendo con Robin, por favor... Qué tío más petardo. Amén de que Roe pasa de no poder tener hijos por una malformación en el útero en los primeros libros a tener sólo una "deformación" hace poco y ahora... ¡sorpresa! Se queda embarazada de aquí el amigo soseras. Después de todo el coñazo que se nos ha dado en los libros anteriores sobre el útero de Roe y lo triste que estaba ella por no poder tener hijos ahora esto hace que sienta que me han tomado el pelo.Ah, y el hermanastro de Roe creo que ha crecido demasiado rápido... I enjoyed this last entry into the Aurora Teagarden series and thought Harris wrapped it up rather nicely. I like the character development of Melinda and wish she had been around for more of the books. I also wish the Uppity Women club had been mentioned it the previous books and it seemed odd that they were so important and powerful yet she had never mentioned them. A nice end to a nice series.

It was a little better than the rest, though that's not saying much. I'm not sure why Harris hasn't written any more. Especially since this one ended in a way that to me indicated that there were going to be more. I guess the Sookie Stackhouse books got too popular.

This was the 8th book in the series and was the final book...however, she has #9 coming out in October. I liked this one :)
