I finally finished the whole Dune series by Frank Herbert!
I must admit that getting thru Chapterhouse has been an effort. This is a slow burner that gets deep into the conflict between the Bene Gesserit and the Honored Matres faction. Like last book, it is great to see this SF major book where most leader roles are women instead of men. Nevertheless, it was difficult to me to navigate across the story.
While this last episode hasn't been great for me, the overall collection is the best SF series I have ever read. Epic, deep and unique

I have worked my way through millenia of Dune history from both the Herbert's and my unpopular opinion if the original series is not that great. Chapterhouse is the final book written by Frank and it was disappointing.  I struggled to find much of a story, it was filled with (as most are) betrayal and murder plots.  In previous books it has been easy enough to identify the good guys from the bad even if this has shifted over the centuries but not so in this book.  I finished it feeling quite confused over what I had just read.  I'll push forward having come this far and hope that Brian can shed some light on things in future books.
