So good! Waid & Samnee's story is a solid action spy thriller with just enough superhero weirdness to keep it in the Marvel Universe. But the art is the stand out here. Chris Samnee is at the top of his game. Reading issue one, I could hear the roar of motorcycles and a pounding action movie soundtrack.

Comics #1-6 (2016) interesting storyline.

The thing is, this probably could've been wrapped up in half the space, because you don't really get anywhere with this, it's just an opening for the next volume, really.

Is it just me, or is being a babe with bright red hair not ideal for a spy? I'm like a 5 out of 10, brown hair, boring-looking. I would be an excellent spy. NOBODY is going to be like, "I saw this dude out there today, he was...well, he looked SO normal."

If a ScarJo with blood red hair walked through your line in airport security, you'd probably remember. Just sayin.

A non stop thrill ride. This was a fun story that looks to have a long running storyline. While the art is not my cup of tea it foes work very well. As a side note, I am glad I borrowed this from the library as it only took about 30 minutes to read.

A great new take on Black Widow that stays true to the hero. The art style is incredible, the acrobatics clear, and intrigue badass. Looking forward to what this team writes in continuing this new storyline.

A fast and fairly enjoyable read. Felt like not a lot was happening, like those six issues could have easily been three. The art was pretty, though.

Fast-paced, exciting, well-told - this is a cool, capable version of the character and the story is put together with skill - staying interesting from start to finish and revealing information at just the right moments. It's a tense spy thriller with all the darkness and flash that this character deserves.
