While I don’t think this book is particularly bad, it is boring. Over 300 pages and I still couldn’t accurately tell you the overall story trying to be presented. Dragons? Plague? Deception? Murder? Conspiracy to commit murder? Is the world ending? Is the world safe? Lesbian romance? Heterosexual romance? WHAT IS HAPPENING?! Multiple POV’s make the read confusing, only one POV is interesting (shouting you out Ead!), and I’m having a hard time figuring out if the storyline has inconsistencies or it’s just not rememberable. I MAY pick it up again for another try, but for now I just have to call it.

3.5⭐️. Solid plot, solid characters, world building was decent but too long and the info-dumping was way too much. Would still (tentatively) recommend tho.
