The book was sold to me with the background blurb of renovation in an old manor house.

There's literally zero renovation or interior design. None.

There are however:
- blatant factual lies that would've taken 0.007 seconds to google.
- harmful slurs.
- harmful mental health portrayal.
- misogyny.

- !!!SPOILER!!! p*dof*l*a, which is disgustingly called "und*rage s*x"??!! This is unacceptable, abhorrent, and should never happen.
- !!!SPOILER!!!: what I initially thought was FOR ONCE a supportive female friendship turned out.. not that but instead once again perpetuating misogynistic views of women.

Absolutely gutted. Fuck this book.
