Another really good page-turning mystery. I couldn’t put this down, even as I held my breath at Kinsey’s daring. Really, really good.

I don't understand it myself, but I'm really into this series.

Yes, it drones on about unimportant details and is really into describing houses and plants. Yes, Kinsey is a little distant most of the time. Yes, her thoughts about her neighbour are a little weird... Yet I'm really drawn to it.

I liked how this one gave us a little more back story regarding Kinsey and her crew. I also enjoyed the mystery though some aspects of it were a little on the nose.

The book was slow to pick up and seemed to drag. Kinsey is hired to help find out who killed Bobby. But she gets herself in trouble and may not be able to get out.

The palpitations of anxiety as I get in the last chapters of Grafton's books are probably not very good for my heart. These conclusions are always so intense!!

3...Still chugging along with mediocrity...I am now starting to wonder if it is because this series is older and I am JUST NOW reading it...I bet this would have seemed better then. It's not a bad way to kill a few hours of down time though!

Best one from the series so far.
