I really enjoyed this book. though the reality of the state of the world in the 1970's wasn't easy to read, I found myself thinking about this book and wondering about what was going to happen next.

Couldn’t keep up with it. It just didn’t have much going on. I was hoping it would catch my attention but I finished maybe half of it. It’s also dreadfully long.

I was so surprised that this was Karin Slaughter's debut novel as the writing is already so developed. I discovered Karin Slaughter within the last couple of years and have quickly fell in love with her writing. This book is suspenseful and keeps you guessing. I really enjoyed the female main charachters and their similar but different voices and perspectives. Could not put it down!
